Bob, It is getting chilly but not down right cold just yet. We like it ok, however, not a place to stay. Brad does not care for it much and Zach does not have a comment. We are contemplating retirement! Looking at moving to Salt Lake City area. He has a possible job offer - we are waiting for the answer. Shane and I were just out there this past week looking around! Loved it! Lots of outdoor things to do all year. Better climate! Keep us in your prayers. This is a big scary decision for us. Everyone says Shane just wants to move to SLC so he can have another wife. I have no fear, she will give him back! HA Jen
Trey, another question. I've got a laptop at my office, a cassette deck, and a whole bunch of tapes from past lectureships that I would like to record as MP3 files on my laptop so that I can eventually put them on a CD or an iPod. Is there a program that will allow me to listen to the cassette on the laptop while it's being recorded?
I've been in full time ministry for over 30 years (one year of youth ministry and the rest in the pulpit) with four churches. I'm married since 1976 to Pat. I have three grown children and three grand sons.

Bob,
This was a lot of fun.
Thanks for putting this on as a post. It was great!
I re-ran your blog and you have improved to college (undergrad)! Congratulations,
Jen in ND
Missing you and Pat!
Jen,
So how do you like ND? I'll bet it's getting cold right now.

Bob, it's called Easy MP3 Sound Recorder 2.01
You can get it here at C.net:

I just hook a wire up from my cassette player to my computer. Set the recording for "line in" and hit record. That's how I copy all my sermons over.
Hope this helps. Email me if you need more information. Have a good Thanksgiving
Thanks Trey.
